Hands on finger food with wine class
Barbara will teach you the 1st steps of the world of wine, matching it with food.
When organizing and cooking a dinner for friends and family it is not only important what you cook but also what wine you serve with those dishes.
This class will allow you to apply what you learn once you get back home to delight your friends and families palates.
During the class you will explore 4 wines combined with different finger food dishes that you will cook with the chef and sommelier.
Minimum participants 2 people
Cost per person is 200 euro. For groups with children or for groups with more than 6 adult participants contact us directly for a quotation.
The meats for the dinners and courses are purchased in a boutique butcher shop in Strada in Chianti (Mastrocicciao).
Fruit and vegetables are purchased at a greengrocer in Strada in Chianti. Both shops are family run and they have high quality products.
When possible I purchase flour from an organic farm in San Casciano where it is ground on a traditional stone mill.
Wines come from small boutique family run wineries in the area and are mostly organic. When possible Babs purchases organic products.
